The purpose of the European Association of Registered Dental Hygienists, e.v. shall be to provide means for Registered Dental Hygienists to assemble in a formal professional meeting for study and continuing education in this specialty of dentistry.

The activities of this Association shall be:

• To promote the highest standards in education, research, and the practice of Dental Hygiene.
• To elevate the scientific and professional status of those practicing this specialty of dentistry.
• To enhance professional proficiency as well as personal relationships of professional colleagues with a common professional interest and duty requirement.
• To promote the interests of Dental Hygiene.
• To promote and encourage professional advancement of members.
• To conduct an annual, formal, professional educational meeting.
